We are seeking a Community Relations Director who is business-minded, professional in appearance, flexible, and creative in building relationships and driving growth. This person will play a key leadership role in both marketing and community engagement, ensuring that Autumn Trace continues to be a vibrant place to live and work.
Position Summary
The Community Relations Director is responsible for developing and executing marketing and outreach strategies to achieve occupancy goals, build partnerships, and enhance resident engagement.
This position blends marketing, sales, outreach, and event planning — ideal for someone who loves working with people, enjoys creative challenges, and takes pride in presenting a professional image at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Occupancy Growth
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to maintain and grow occupancy.
- Plan, coordinate, and attend internal and external marketing events that promote Autumn Trace.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, families, and community organizations.
- Represent the community with a professional and polished appearance in all settings.
- Manage marketing and outreach budgets effectively.
- Track leads, tours, move-ins, and move-outs, ensuring accuracy and follow-through.
- Oversee community social media presence and advertising efforts.
Community Engagement
- Design and oversee a monthly Life Enrichment Calendar that reflects the interests and passions of our residents.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and leadership team to create in-house events that draw in families and potential residents.
- Encourage and track resident participation and engagement.
- Be an active and visible presence throughout the community.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior living, marketing, sales, hospitality, or event planning preferred.
- Strong business and budgeting skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor — must “dress the part” daily.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and creative.
- Flexible schedule to support outreach events, community tours, and special programs, including occasional evenings or weekends.
- Passion for working with seniors and enhancing quality of life.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
