Site Operative – Working Away Jobs in Sandholme at Hydrotec Industrial Services Ltd
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE REQUIRES WORKING AWAY THROUGHOUT THE UK – MONDAY TO FRIDAY
Introduction
As experts in industrial services, waste management and water treatment; we operate throughout the UK from our base near Brough, East Yorkshire.
Our family-run company has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join the business during a period of growth.
Applicants should be aware that this role involves working away, Monday-Friday as well as home-based projects and yard work.
The key responsibilities involve:
- Tank & vessel cleaning – confined spaces.
- Industrial services including high pressure water jetting.
- Liaising with site personnel.
- Site and yard preparation.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols.
- Following instruction from Site Supervisor and Senior Management.
- The successful candidate must be willing to work away Monday – Friday.
Education & Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Confined Spaces certification (Desirable)
- EUSR SHEA Gas/CCNSG Safety Passport (Desirable)
- NPORS/CPCS Tickets (Desirable)
- Any other site related qualifications/tickets e.g. IPAF, PASMA (Desirable)
Experience:
- Experience working on an industrial site or similar profession.
- Problem solving and decision making.
- Operating site-specific tools and equipment.
- Following site specific health and safety protocols.
- Carrying out everyday yard duties.

Benefits
- Basic salary £39,000.00 per year – Potential basic wage increase subject to completion of 6 month probation period.
- Overtime paid at 1.25x Mon-Fri, enhanced rates for optional weekend works.
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays.
- £40.00 per night subsidies whilst working away on site.
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
