Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Van Driver and Warehouse Person to join our team. This role involves transporting tyres, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring the smooth flow of tyres in and out within our facility . This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic logistics environment. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00 pm and alternate Saturdays 8.30am to 1 pm.

Duties
- Safely operate a van for local deliveries and collections, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading tyres using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques
- Manage stock levels through accurate picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and warehouse equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency
- Support warehouse organisation by stocking shelves, arranging tyres, and maintaining a clean working environment
- Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, following health and safety guidelines
- Assist with mechanical repairs or troubleshooting minor issues related to warehouse machinery or vehicles
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including stock management, picking & packing, shipping & receiving
- Prior experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is highly desirable
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or moving around the warehouse environment
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating a van within local areas
